Wednesday, November 14, 2018 - Saturday, November 17, 2018
Kona Kai Resort and Spa, San Diego, CA

The California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD) will continue the tradition of bringing together the conservation community from around the state at the 73rd Annual CARCD Conference. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Resilient Landscapes and Adaptive Communities” and the conference will be held from November 14-17, 2018 at the Kona Kai Resort and Spa in San Diego, California.

Featuring four days of trainings, breakout sessions, panels, and networking opportunities, the Annual CARCD Conference is a highly anticipated event that brings together over 250 conservation practitioners, scientists, private landowners and land managers, legislators, non-profits, and State and Federal agency representatives.

This year in San Diego, participants will explore and celebrate the strategies, programs, and partnerships that are helping to cultivate thriving landscapes and adaptable communities throughout California. This conference will be a unique opportunity to build new and strengthen existing partnerships, become acquainted with locally-driven conservation programs throughout the state, and explore opportunities for innovation through the cross-pollination of ideas.
