Restoring Balance in Our Forested Watersheds

Experts from CAL FIRE, CSU Chico, and Fire Safe Councils will talk about the history of fire in the Sacramento River Watershed along with the current conditions, management challenges, and efforts to safeguard communities and the environment against catastrophic fires.

The workshops are free to the public thanks to support from CAL FIRE/Butte County FireForest Ranch Fire Safe CouncilCSU ChicoButte County Fire Safe Council, and the Sacramento River Watershed Program.

There will be three workshops:

  • March 29, 2018, 6 pm - 8 pm, at the Paradise Pines POA Recreation Room in Paradise.
  • April 28, 2018, 10 am - 1 pm, at the Forest Ranch Charter School in Forest Ranch.
  • May 19, 2018, 10 am - noon, at the Lake Oroville Visitor Center in Oroville.
