The FRFSC received a grant from the National Fire Protection Association and State Farm to provide information about basic fire behavior, regulations associated with burning, and tips and guidelines on the use of prescribed fire activities.

Participants will to learn about the The Butte Forest Thin-Doe Mill Ridge Watershed Project and its benefits to the Forest Ranch Community and Butte Creek Watershed.

The event is FREE and will include presentations, a field trip, and utilization of fire safety tools.
