Watershed Day at the Capitol on Thursday, April 10, 2008
![]()
The
California Watershed Network is hosting the 7th Annual
Watershed Day at the Capitol on April 10th! This is a great opportunity to learn about the political climate regarding watersheds and hear the latest
happenings in State programs such as the Integrated Regional Water Management Program (IRWMP) and California Watershed Program. After the morning discussions,
participants are encouraged to meet with their legislators!
Join SRWP and Meet with Your Legislators!
SRWP will be arranging meetings with legislators and/or their staff on the afternoon of April 10th. If interested in participating in one or more of the meetings
please contact Mary Lee Knecht at marylee@sacriver.org and include your legislator(s) name or your zip
code. Don't be intimated or shy about participating ... this is a fantastic opportunity to educate our elected officials on the importance of local watershed
management and how it helps to meet the State's goals!
