Did you catch your copy of

A Journey through the Sacramento River Watershed in the October 13th edition of the Sacramento Bee?  SRWP partnered with the Sacramento Stormwater Quality Partnership, Department of Water Resources, Department of Health Services, and Sacramento Bee to produce the 16-page newspaper insert.  The newspaper includes great information about our watershed for both kids and adults!  In addition to the 278,369 Sacramento Bee readers, 710 teachers and 28,400 students received the newspaper insert as part of the Newspaper in Education Program

Missed your copy?  No worries, contact us to request copies for yourself and to share with others.  Extra copies will also be available at the SRWP Annual Stakeholders Meeting!  A PDF version will also be posted on the SRWP website soon!

Special thanks to Intel Corporation for their generous grant to make this fantastic project a reality!

 SWIM
Sacramento Watershed Information Module (SWIM)

SWIM is a "virtual library" and resource tool, which will eventually house a wide variety of watershed-related information for the Sacramento River Basin including assessments, management plans, maps, photographs, data, and more.   Currently, users can view and print custom maps for their home watershed.  Recent updates to SWIM include water quality, soils, and endangered species data.  You can also browse and print custom maps of public and private grazing lands, Sacramento River farmlands; and see what CalFire predicts for the footprint of development 50 years into the future!
